Here is what we are currently studying:

 

6th Grade Social Studies

  • We study World History: Early & Ancient Civilizations through the Middle Ages in grade 6.

6th Grade Spelling

We are using the program called "The Tricky 450".  It consists of 450 words that students should know how to spell.  We are also learning Greek & Latin root words.  Each week we will focus on a different root and add 5 words to our list.  We take our spelling tests on Tuesdays.  Following our test, students receive the next set of 15 "Tricky 450" list words.  On Thursdays we study the new root and add our 5 additional words, making a total of 20 words.  

Students are encouraged to use Spelling City to help them prepare each week for their test.  Please click the link below to be taken directly to the page where their list words are found.
