SMGS Families: Announcing Priority Re-Enrollment for the 2025/2026 School Year! Current SMGS Families will have the first chance to secure a spot for the 2025/2026 school year for KDG-6th grade! To ensure your spot, current families will need to complete and submit your priority re-enrollment form. This priority re-enrollment form will be mailed out on 2/1/25 and will need to be turned into the office by 2/28/25. This form will officially enroll your child(ren) for the upcoming school year. If you have questions, please contact the office at 785-827-4200. General enrollment for non-current families will open March 1.

SMGS Families: Spring P/T Conferences will be held on Thursday, Feb. 13th (8am-1 pm) and (4pm - 8pm). Parent teacher conferences will be scheduled online. It's time for Spirit Mania! All Pre-K - 6th Grade Students are invited to perform with the Sacred Heart Spirit Team at halftime of the boys varsity basketball game against Beloit on Tuesday, January 28th! Clinic: Wednesday, January 22nd from 6:30-8:00 PM in the Sacred Heart High School Gym. Please check in for the clinic between 6:10 and 6:25. Clinic will be supervised by the SHHS Spirit Team Coaches. Cost: $30 which includes admission to the game (participant only,) refreshments after the performance, and a t-shirt to perform in. Attire: Participants should wear t-shirts, shorts or sweats, and athletic shoes to the practice. (SHHS does not allow leggings, spandex, bare midriffs, or tank tops). Performance information will be sent home at the practice. Forms will be sent home with students. Please complete by Tuesday, January 21st!

Due to road conditions of side streets, ALL classes at Love N' Learn, St. Mary's, and Sacred Heart Jr/Sr High are canceled today, Friday, Jan. 10. Thank you to our campus maintenance crews for their efforts early this morning attempting to make it possible. The safety of our staff and students remains our top priority.

Love N' Learn Early Childhood Center, St. Mary's Grade School, and Sacred Heart Jr/Sr High School will have a delayed start Friday January 10. Classes will begin @ 10:00 AM, doors will open @ 9:30 AM. If a decision is made to cancel classes, families will be notified as early as we can. Thank you for your understanding

Good Afternoon, Due to the expected weather tomorrow, the Salina Symphony has decided to postpone their concert. Meaning that it will be moved to a new date. They are not sure when it will be yet but will tell us in the upcoming weeks. We are sad that it has been moved but excited that we will get to experience still just at a different time. Thank you for your understanding! I am very excited to take the students to this performance but at a different time! I will give you updates as soon as I can! Thank you! Salina Catholic Schools families, please see the message from Superintendent Geoff Andrews regarding the recent Power School Data Breach: -- Dear Parents, I am writing to inform you of a cybersecurity incident involving PowerSchool, the student information system used by our schools. On December 28, 2024, PowerSchool became aware of unauthorized access to certain data through its customer support portal, PowerSource. The company’s investigation determined that a compromised credential was used to access some PowerSchool SIS (Student Information System) customer data. PowerSchool has assured us that this incident was limited to their SIS product, and other PowerSchool services remain unaffected. As soon as the incident was identified, PowerSchool engaged cybersecurity experts, restricted access to the affected portal, reset passwords, and informed law enforcement. While there is no evidence of continued unauthorized activity, and the incident is now contained, PowerSchool is committed to providing transparency and support. We take the security of your child’s information seriously. Although there is no further action required from parents at this time, please feel free to reach out to our diocesan office if you have any questions or concerns.
